University students in Melbourne! Head to your university for your daily dose of air-conditioning during the heatwave. You pay your fees, who cares that it isn’t semester yet? You’re just sitting at home on the net anyway, right?
I type this message from the Art & Design Mac labs, where the beverages are cool, the music is pumpin’ (brought my external hard drive), the...

what.
FUCK THIS HEATWAVE.
Holy. Shit.
clembastow:
It is currently 43° - that’s 109 to those of you in the land of Farenheit.
What. I’m going to delay this whole going-outside-to-catch-the-train business as long as I can.
Typotour: North Melbourne →
Letterbox has “typotours” of Melbourne up on their website. If only I had known about site number 3 on this map when I was doing my City Faces project. They also have typotours of the Melbourne CBD and Richmond online.
Gaaah! Paid $66 to develop two rolls of 120 film
spectra:
Slide film is so fun ^.^ but a pain in the a** when half the roll doesn’t develop because the lighting was too dark.
And I got a new phone today cause my other one isn’t functioning anymore. Well… it was a phone upgrade for my Plan/Cap anyway…
$66? Where are you going? I would slap someone who would charge me that much. And even if that price was with prints, I would still slap them....
I was raised strictly but neatly by my parents and if they knew I had started...

I got six rolls of film processed the other day. I found another two stray rolls of 35mm and two of 120 floating around my room the other day. I got them developed at Kmart, where to my surprise, you pay less for them to give you the scanned negs on disc than you do for prints. I am more than happy with that agreement.
I should remove the industrial scanner’s EXIF data...

One day we’ll suprise ourselves when we this isn’t assumed to happen on Australia Day. Until then the shirtless drunk 16 to 30 something minority can run rampant like they represent the majority.
This is why Australia can’t have nice things. “Fuck off, you tool”.
Australian cuisine.
Natasha: Mum, we can't have quesadillas for dinner tonight, it's Australia Day. We need to have... [transitions into bogan accent] rissoles or something
Mum: [bogan accent] ... Aww yeah, and some bangers
Natasha: ...and mash.
Mum: Awww yeah.
Natasha: Fuckin' oath yeah.
Mum: Or a meat pie. Lets go get some meat pies.
Both: [pause] Ewww.
Natasha: I could go a curry chicken pie, though.
ninefruits:

Me: Don’t touch me.
I’d be a lot more comfortable with this new patriotism if it came packaged with...

I’m at home and I don’t have a radio in my room because I took it when I moved. Is that a valid excuse?
No? Okay then.
No, definitely not. Even I am listening to it today.
Interwebs streaming? We’re only up to number.. uh, thirty-something. I forget.
Did I mention I’m back at home? I don’t think our internet can handle streaming, haha. Get onto...

Ok, this is officially my new favorite website.* You can search for art related posts by Time, Style, Artist, or Themes. It has a super easy layout (Lotte Meijer is responsible for the slick design) and really interesting posts, artworks, and podcasts.
This site is being developed by Beth Harris and Steven Zucker as a dynamic enhancement (or even substitute) for the static...
